Building Cisco Remote Access Networks course explains how to make this worldwide network completely transparent to the
end user accessing network resources. In addition to providing basic connectivity, you will also learn how to control access
using basic authentication and authorization configurations, how to maximize bandwidth utilization over the remote links, and

backbones, as well as anyone seeking a CCNP or specialized CCIE certification.
Prerequisites
The BCRAN course focuses on the technology required for enabling WAN solutions. To fully benefit from this course, the
student must be familiar with general networking concepts and have Cisco router operation and configuration experience. In
addition, the course requires an understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols, standard and extended access lists, PPP
configuration over serial links, and Frame Relay operation and configuration on interfaces and sub-interfaces. Successful completion of the following courses (or equivalent experience) is strongly recommended:
