PMI CAPM Certification Requirements

How do I become CAPM certified?

To apply for CAPM certification an individual must:

• Satisfy educational and experience requirements*
• If candidate does not have at least 1,500 hours of work experience, then complete a minimum of 23 contact hours of instruction that addresses all nine knowledge areas
• Pass the CAPM Certification Examination
• To obtain CAPM certification examination paper application, note that it is included in the CAPM Handbook, please refer to: http://www.pmi.org
• Mail (no fax or email accepted) completed application, resume, experience verification form and fee ** to:

Maintain your CAPM Certification

To maintain your CAPM credential, you do not need to earn PDUs. Instead, you must take a re-exam before the end of your five-year certification cycle

*PMI® requires that a candidate hold a minimum of a high school diploma or global equivalent. Additionally, they must document a minimum of 1,500 hours of project management experience OR complete a minimum of 23 contact hours of educational instruction that addresses the five process groups and nine knowledge areas.

Live Class Refund Policy - For full refund, class or boot camp must be canceled  via email or fax at least 14 days prior to start of class. CISSP and other ISC2 course cancellation period is 22 days due to arrangement of tests via ISC2. Class schedules are subject to change or cancellation.
CD-ROMS - 30-Day Guarantee on CDs- can view up to 50% of one course on (1) one CD. If more than one CD is opened, refund policy is voided.
Online - You can view up to 2 hours of training within 48 hours. If any portion of a course has been downloaded, refund policy is voided. If more than 2 hours of training has been completed, or more than 48 hours has lapsed, refund policy is voided.
AutoCAD DVDs - You may view up to 10% of the training before registering the AutoCAD DVD course online. Once the course has been registered it can not be returned.
