CCNA & CCDA Dual Certification Program: Exam Track
The Cisco® Certified Network Associate indicates a foundation in and apprentice knowledge of networking.
CCNA® certified professionals can install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small
networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.
The Cisco® Certified Design Associate indicates a foundation or apprentice knowledge of network design for the
Cisco Internetwork Infrastructure. CCDA certified professionals can design routed and switched network infrastructures involving LAN, WAN, and dial access services for businesses and organizations.
During The Boot Camp for Cisco CCNA and CCDA Certification, the student will take a total of three (3)
examinations as outlined below. The CCNA portion of the program has adopted the two exam path that
covers the same content areas as the single CCNA 640-801 examination, but in smaller doses.
Exam Number: INTRO 640-821 Associated Certifications: CCNA Duration:
75 minutes (40-50 questions) Exam This 640-821 exam tests topics including Network Types, Network Media, Switching Fundamentals, TCP/IP, IP
Addressing and Routing, WAN Technologies, Operating and Configuring IOS Devices, and Managing Network
Environments. The exam will certify that the successful candidate has important knowledge and skills necessary to describe and identify major network and WAN components, along with their function and purpose.
Exam Number: ICND 640-811 Associated Certifications: CCNA Duration:
60 minutes (40-50 questions) Exam
The 640-811 exam will certify that the successful candidate has important knowledge and skills necessary to select,
connect, configure, and troubleshoot the various Cisco networking devices. The exam covers topics on Extending
Switched Networks with VLANS, Determining IP Routes, Managing IP traffic with Access Lists, Establishing Pont-to-Point connections, and Establishing Frame Relay Connections.
Exam Number: DESGN 640-861 Associated Certifications: CCDA Duration: 90 minutes (70 questions)
Exam The 640-861 exam is the only exam required to achieve a CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate) certification. The
exam covers topics including Design Principles, Network Structure Concepts, IP Addressing Design Concepts, Basic Campus Switching Design Considerations, Basic WAN Design Considerations,
Routing Protocols Design Considerations, Introduction to Network Management Design Concepts, Introduction to Security Design Concepts, Introduction to Voice Design Concepts.

You will have 24-hour access to quality personal workstations, audiovisual equipment, supplies, and lab equipment. You and your lab partner will share:
- Two Cisco® 1604 routers with WIC (serial) adapter, BRI (ISDN), Ethernet
