CIT Training Live Online Training Course
Description Cisco internetworks have become more complex than ever before, thanks to the consistent introduction of new technologies and
the Architecture for Voice, Video, and Integrated Data (AVVID). As the complexity of networks has increased, so has the need
for sophisticated and efficient troubleshooting approaches and strategies. Our expert-led Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting
(CIT) 5.1 course provides students with best practice recommendations and advanced troubleshooting techniques -- straight from
Cisco Certified Internetwork Experts (CCIE ) and Technical Assistance Center (TAC) personnel. To ensure students fully
master the troubleshooting approaches contained in the curriculum, our instructors present numerous examples and extremely
complex hands-on troubleshooting demonstrations. During a considerable portion of our virtual classroom offering (LIVE),
students are given the opportunity to troubleshoot CCIE -level lab scenarios on a variety of actual Cisco routers and switches via telnet sessions (TCP Port 23).
Objectives Upon completion of the Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting (CIT) course, the student will be able to:
- Use Cisco IOS commands to discover baseline configuration information.
- Fully diagram and document an existing Cisco network topology.
- Use the principles of a layered model troubleshooting approach to determine and document a troubleshooting strategy so
that internetwork problems can be detected and corrected consistently.
- Given the sub-optimal operation of an internetwork at the physical or data link layer, a list of user-reported symptoms,
and a network baseline - use Cisco IOS commands to resolve optimization and failure problems at the physical or data link layer.
