Cisco DCNX5+7 Training Class - Data Center Networking with the Cisco Nexus 5000 & 7000 Course

ICNX5+7 Cisco Nexus 5000 7000Get hands-on practice exploring the day-to-day operations of the NX-OS Software and Nexus platform.

With this 5-day class, you will learn how to implement the routing and switching infrastructure in the Cisco Enterprise Data Center Architecture with the next-generation Cisco Nexus 5000, 7000, and 2000 series fabric extenders. Receiving a technical overview of the Cisco Nexus platform architecture based on version 5.x, you will cover:

Deployment and operations
Virtual Device Contexts (VDCs)
Virtual Port Channels (vPC)
Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV)
Layer 2 and Layer 3 features
Quality of Service (QoS)
Security

In hands-on labs, you will explore the features of Cisco NX-OS Software and the Cisco Nexus platform, gaining an understanding of the day-to-day operations of these products and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) in today's data center. Labs you'll perform will help you prepare a new implementation or a migration to the Nexus from the Catalyst platform. .
