When a student takes a live CHP class from a HIPAA Academy Authorized Training Partner (ATP) and from a HIPAA Academy Certified Instructor (HACI) and successfully passes the
CHP exam, the HIPAA Academy will also award his/her the CHSS certification. Copy of one of the above three certification must be provided.

This course is designed for all security managers, officers, and practitioners in the health care and insurance industries as well as managers whose organizations are Business Associates.
It teaches the same basic principles of HIPAA but the emphasis now shifts from healthcare end users to those who manage and practice in the health care and insurance industries.
