Cisco IPTD Training IP Telephony Design
Cisco IPTD training course will teach you that in order to successfuly implement an IP
telephony installation you must start with a detailed and well-planned design. As prospective designers of IP telephony solutions, students of the IPTD certification
training course, will learn about designing, or redesigning, the enterprise LAN and sizing WAN links to support IP telephony. Students learn about sizing and positioning voice
gateways, calculating the processing power required to support IP telephony, positioning and sizing Cisco ® CallManager clusters, and designing the dial plan and
emergency services. Students also learn about securing the IP telephony solution. This critical course in IP telephony takes a very real-world approach to the course
materials, allowing students to practice IP telephony designs using mock scenarios based on real network topologies.
Comprehensive design exercises include a multi-campus, multi-site organization that is migrating from a circuit-switched telephony network to a packet-switched telephony network.
