ITIL  Intermediate Boot Camp Training Classes for Certification Course

During this 9-day ITIL Certification Boot Camp, you will learn the practical aspects of the ITIL v3 Service Lifestyle and processes associated with the Release, Control and Validation and Operational Support and Analysis of services and service delivery. The main focus of this course is on the operational-level process activities and supporting methods and approaches to executing these processes in a practical, hands-on learning environment. You will live, learn, and test on-site.

Boot Camp Prerequisite

Candidates for the ITIL v3 Intermediate RC&V and OS&A Capabilities certification are expected to have:

  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certificate
  • Two - four years of IT experience, although it is not required, it is highly desirable  

9-day Intermediate Boot Camp Training Class:

Days 1-5:

  • Understanding Service Management as a Practice and Service Transition principles, purpose and objective
  • Knowing the important role of Release, Control and Validation in service provision and understanding of how the in-scope processes interact with other Service Lifecycle processes
  • The activities, methods and functions used in each of the Release, Control and Validation processes
  • The application of Release, Control and Validation processes, activities and functions to achieve operational excellence
  • How to measure Release, Control and Validation performance
  • The importance of IT Security and how it supports Release, Control and Validation
  • Understanding technology and implementation requirements in support of Release, Control and Validation
  • The challenges, critical success factors and risks related with Release, Control and Validation
  • ITIL® v3 Release, Control and Validation Capability  Exam

Days 5-9

  • Understanding Service Management as a Practice, Service Operation principles, purpose and objective
  • Knowing the important role of Operational Support and Analysis in service provision and understanding of how the in-scope processes interact with other Service Lifecycle processes
  • The activities, methods and functions used in each of the Operational Support and Analysis processes

Daily Training Schedule

Our daily class schedule incorporates different modes of instruction and learning environments to ensure that students learn, retain, comprehend, and can apply knowledge critical to a professional.*

  • 8:15 am to 9:00 am        Breakfast
  • 9:00 am to 1:00 pm       Instruction: Lecture
  • 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm       Lunch
  • 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm       Instruction/Interactive, Hands-on Labs

  • 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm       Wrap-Up Sessions

90 minutes Multiple Choice
Pass Score: 28/40 or 70%.
Delivery: Online or Paper Based Examination onsite
Closed Book
Qualification Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: ITIL v3 Foundations Certificate or ITIL v2 Foundation + v3 Foundation Bridge Certificate

ITIL® v3 Operation Support and Analysis Capability (OS&A)
90 minutes Multiple Choice
Pass Score: 28/40 or 70%.
Delivery: Online or Paper Based Examination onsite Closed Book
Qualification Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: ITIL v3 Foundations Certificate or ITIL v2 Foundation + v3 Foundation Bridge Certificate

CD-ROMS - 30-Day Guarantee on CDs- can view up to 50% of one course on (1) one CD. If more than one CD is opened, refund policy is voided.
Online - You can view up to 2 hours of training within 48 hours. If any portion of a course has been downloaded, refund policy is voided. If more than 2 hours of training has been completed, or more than 48 hours has lapsed, refund policy is voided.
AutoCAD DVDs - You may view up to 10% of the training before registering the AutoCAD DVD course online. Once the course has been registered it can not be returned.
