Lotus Notes R4 Single Database Applications - Creating a Basic Notes Application has been developed for new Notes application developers, who work in a Windows-based environment
and design Notes applications. The course helps build skills necessary for developing applications using Lotus Notes Release 4. The course also helps the development professional
acquire the expertise to design, build and test single Database Notes applications.

- Create and work with the basic components of a Notes database

This is the first course in a two-part series intended for experienced LAN administrators who maintain Notes client-server topology throughout their organization. In the series, you will learn
how to set up, operate and maintain Notes servers and client workstations.
Learn To:
- Install Notes and additional servers and configure the Notes system
- Identify the features of mail routing and shared mail databases.
- Identify the different levels of security in Notes and implement them.
- Identify system administration problems and resolve them.
Audience
This course is intended for experienced LAN administrators who will be responsible for installing
and maintaining Notes and a client/server topology throughout their organization. Learners should have completed the entire Lotus Notes R4 end user curriculum or equivalent experience;
at least three months using Notes; prior experience installing and configuring network hardware and software; prior knowledge of operating system commands and graphical windowed
environments; working knowledge of at least one network operating system; general knowledge of network protocol operation.
