Course No. 2072 (832): Administering a Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Database

This five-day course provides students with the knowledge and skills required to install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot the client-server database management system of Microsoft SQL Server 2000. Course 2072 is a revision of course 832, System Administration for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0. The course content is being revised to reflect changes in the product. Class Schedules

Prerequisites Supporting M/S WIN NT Server 4.0 or equivalent knowledge, including ability to:

  • share and access network resources
  • set up Windows NT user accounts through User Manager for Domains
  • edit the Registry
  • describe the difference between a domain and a workgroup
  • change network settings using Control Panel
  • understand basic Transact-SQL® syntax

Course No. 2073 (833): Programming a Microsoft SQL Server Database

This five-day provides students with the technical skills required to program a database solution by using Microsoft® SQL ServerTM 2000.

Upon Course Completion:
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
