Cisco MSCV Training Course Microsoft for Cisco Voice
Cisco ® specifically designed the Microsoft for Cisco ® Voice MSCV training course to
provide students with the necessary background knowledge in the various Microsoft technologies that will be required before entering the Cisco ® Voice training on either Cisco ® CallManager or Unity.
While this course does not prepare students for Microsoft certification, our expert instructors effectively introduce Cisco ® partners and customers to the subset of features that interact with the
Cisco ® Voice family of products including Windows 2000, Active Directory, SQL Server and Exchange.
Objectives
Upon completion of the Microsoft for Cisco ® Voice MSCV training course, the student will be able to:

- Explain how the Active Directory design impacts the decision for a Unified Messaging and Voice
- Mail-Only deployment of Unity
- Explore the security issues around deploying Cisco ® voice products as well as linking them with account information from Active Directory
- Understand the role of SQL Server and the replication process of the SQL Publisher and Subscribers
- Manage Exchange information stores and mailboxes
- Understand when to use the Internet Voice Connector (IVC)
