Shockwave Download

Instructions for Shockwave Demo

To start the demo you must have Adobe Macromedia Shockwave Player.

Follow the instructions below to download and install the required plug-in.
Please print these instructions before proceeding.

Click the Macromedia Shockwave Player button above. You'll be taken to the Macromedia Website and presented with a 4-step procedure.
Step 1. On the Macromedia Shockwave Download Center page, click the Autoinstall Now button.
Step 2. A dialog box titled "Security Warning" appears. This dialog box asks if you want to install and run the Macromedia Shockwave Player. Click Yes.
Step 3. A second dialog box appears, titled "Shockwave Download in Progress" A blue status bar at the bottom displays the progress of the download. After a successful installation, you should see an animated movie of "Macromedia Shockwave Player" in the gray box on the Download web page. If you do not see this movie, you may need to try to install Shockwave again.
Step 4. Close and restart all browser windows, return to this site, and login.
Additional Notes: (Please Read) Given the potential configuration differences among browsers, it's possible for the Shockwave installation process to vary slightly. Please keep the following in mind:
•Microsoft Internet Explorer users will be presented with a more automated process than Firefox users. Follow the directions on the screen and the appropriate plug-in will be installed automatically. You may be asked to reboot your PC.
•Firefox users, or IE users with their security settings set to "High", will be asked to save the file (the default is the desktop). Once downloaded to the specified location, close your browser and double-click the installer.
•If you use a 3rd-party download utility, i.e., Real Download, you may have to follow the installation procedure outlined by that utility.
